About Lauren
Lauren has been playing volleyball for 20+ years and grew up playing volleyball in the Gateway Region (St. Louis, MO). She was a varsity setter for 3 years at Edwardsville High School earning All Conference and STL Region recognition. Lauren began coaching during her senior year of high school for Edwardsville Volleyball Club as the head coach for a 12U team and assistant coach for the 16U team.
Lauren attended Purdue University and played on the women's club volleyball team for 2+ years. She graduated with honors in 2010 with a degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering. She completed her Masters of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech in December 2012 while working full-time at GE. Lauren is currently an Engineering Manager at GE Renewable Energy - Onshore Wind.
Lauren has coached multiple teams with Carolina One that went to Girls' Junior National Championships (New Orleans & Detroit) and AAU National Championships (Orlando). She is currently the Director of Operations and Director of In House Teams for Carolina One Volleyball.
